Legal notice Candlewood Hills Tax District

Notice is hereby given that the first installment of taxes
due the Candlewood Hills tax District, based on the town of
New Fairfield’s Grand List of October 1, 2024 are due and
payable on January 1,2026.
Payments may be made on or before February 2, 2025 without
interest. If delinquent, interest will be charged at the rate of
1.5% per month from the due date with a minimum interest
charge of $2.00 as specified by Connecticut State Statue.
Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the taxpayer
of his liability for payment of taxes or delinquent charges.
